  • Assistant Mechanic
    • Located on the peninsula of Lake Lewisville, Golf Clubs at the Tribute is a premier golf destination boasting 36 holes of golf with a unique landscape and history. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our TEAM, more specifically we are looking for "difference makers". Old American was built by Tripp Davis and Justin Lenard and opened in September of 2010. Since opening it has wowed golfers with its great layout and stunning views. The Old American will be hosting its fourth Volunteers of America Classic for the LPGA Tour this year, June 28th to July 4th. This is a great experience and provides great opportunity. The Tribute Golf Links opened in 2000 and is a Tribute to the best golf in Scotland. The Tribute is unique experience of golf that most players don’t get to experience. Large fairways and greens provide the higher handicap player an enjoyable and memorable round of golf. 

      Job Overview:· Inspects, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects/failures in various golf course maintenance equipment, including, diesel, electric, gasoline mowers, and other mechanical equipment used in utility work.· Maintains a preventive maintenance program within budget on all equipment, and purchases repair parts and replacement supplies.· Inspect all equipment for operating deficiencies and wear· Perform daily checks in the field and in the maintenance facility· Maintain accurate service records on all equipment· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment· Assist in training staff on proper equipment use, care, and maintenance· Self-motivated individual accustomed to being in a position of responsibility· Must work well with others as a team and help co-workers· Must be organized and communicate effectively· Previous golf course maintenance experience preferred· Ability to move heavy objects.· Skill in the use of a variety of equipment repair tools, and the making of various types of mechanical repair.
